Some of these students are on scholarships and are all part of the gifted and talented programme.
The department are very proud of their strong club links such as Manchester United Foundation, Lawn Tennis Association, Sale Sharks Rugby Union, Salford Red Devils Rugby League, Sale Harriers Athletics and Manchester Giants Basketball. This ensures that the students are exposed to top, professional sports coaching and receive the necessary support to develop their knowledge, understanding, skills and techniques with their chosen sports of interest.
