You are probably already aware the preliminary work for the installation of the Metrolink has begun. Our prime concern is for the safety of our students during this period of disruption. Please would you remind your son/daughter to cross roads at designated crossing areas, particularly on Altrincham Road. Please remind them to make sure it is safe to cross before stepping out into the road. We want your son/daughter to arrive at the academy safely.

A Wythenshawe based team from Sure Start Centres will be doing a sponsiored cycle ride in Kenya for cancer charities and are raising funds at the above event.

MHA staff and students raise money for Comic Relief

19th to 27th March.

BBC ONE’s ever popular Sunday evening programme ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will start filming for its 34th series at Manchester Town Hall, on Monday, 4th April 2011. The doors open at 9.30 am and close at 4.30pm. Entry to the show is free.

Manchester United Chief Executive, David Gill, spent the afternoon at the Manchester Health Academy, where he experienced life at the Academy, plus met with staff and students.
