Academy Vision 2010-11
MHA will be the local secondary provider of choice and hub of the community. We will achieve this by equipping all learners with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours to achieve their personal best in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
Academy Key Priorities 2010-11
- To enrich the learning experience of all staff, students and community members through partnership with the Academy sponsors.
- To deliver a high quality curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment opportunities, which enable all students to enjoy learning, develop high aspirations and achieve ambitious targets.
- To improve the attendance and punctuality of students to achieve the Academy target (93%).
- To ensure the Academy meets the individual needs of every learner and supports achievement of the outcomes within Every Child Matters.
- To work with a range of partners to promote a positive image of the Academy to increase student recruitment (years 7 – 12).
- To become the hub of the community through development of the Academy’s specialism, community provision and wider partnerships.
