The wait was over for Manchester Health Academy students today, when they received their exam results, with some amazing achievements to celebrate!
The Academy’s highest performing student achieved brilliant set of results that included seven GCSEs at Grade 9.
The culmination of five years of hard work and focus, GCSE results have been calculated using mock exams, homework, coursework or mini-exams after exams were cancelled for the second year running due to the pandemic.
Students now look forward to starting further studies, apprenticeships or joining the world of work.
One top achieving student, Nuha, spent two weeks earlier this summer at Cambridge University. Nuha, who plans to continue her studies at a 6th Form in September, said “The Summer School was amazing, I’m so glad that I was able to go.” Nuha was offered her place on the prestigious two-week study course in medicine, taught by top academics in the field, after submitting an essay to a panel of judges earlier this year.
Principal, Mr Green, said, “This cohort of students demonstrated a high level of forbearance and resilience throughout the difficulties of the past 16 months, and their hard work over their five years with us at the Academy has yielded a set of results that will open up doors for them into further education, training and the world of work.
We couldn’t be more proud of them and wish each and every one of them all the very best for the future.”
