Peace Out – Principal’s Blog

As the year draws to a close I am reflecting on all that has been achieved, in what has been a really busy academic year. I have been very impressed with the number of students who are going the extra mile with their studies, and breaking away from the “peloton”. Our values of Excellence, Aspiration, Leadership and Success are now deeply embedded across the Academy and it is a real pleasure to see how positively students are embodying these values.

I am now looking forward to welcoming our Year 10 and 11 students back to the Academy for GCSE results day in August. I have been hugely impressed with the outstanding attitude shown by students taking exams this year, they have really taken control of their own destinies and worked well with my staff throughout the year, showing grit and determination to succeed.

I would like to thank the students, parents, carers, the staff of the Academy and our partners, sponsors and governors for their amazing support this year.

I wish you all a safe, happy and peaceful summer break and look forward to another exciting year in September.
