Preparing for work

Our talented staff will capture, grow and channel your energies and talents allowing you to develop creativity, the ability to solve problems, and the qualities and attributes to work both independently and as members of teams in any employment context.

At MHA, your learning will be linked to real world experiences. For example, we will provide high quality work experience within the NHS for all 15 year olds, and meaningful work-based learning internships for all 17 year olds.

MHA is committed to ‘Manchester Internships’, which represents a pledge made by a group of Manchester based businesses, public and third-sector organisations to contribute to the wider regeneration and development of the city's economy – helping to create a population of local, well motivated young people better prepared to develop a career in Manchester. Designed by employers to offer real significance to businesses, internships are up to 20 day placements that enable well-motivated young people aged 17 and over to learn what it means to take responsibility in work and realise the vast range of work opportunities available.
