All Academy employees will be fully inducted and will have access to training and development opportunities as detailed below:

(a)  Induction

We recognise that for any new starter, the first few days are extremely important and set the tone for things to come. We therefore put a great deal of effort into giving our new staff a warm welcome as they start their career with us. No matter what the role or level, all new starters receive a structured induction which will settle them into the team and their role, as quickly and smoothly as possible.

(b)  Training and development

By identifying and developing the talented individuals who work here, our aim is to ensure that the Manchester Health Academy is able to attract and retain the best people both now and in the future. The training and development of our employees is a major priority for us and we are committed to developing a supportive learning environment and continuing professional development programme to ensure a commitment to life-long learning for all our staff.
